About Beaver Creek Produce
Beaver Creek Produce is a family-owned business located in Berkley, Iowa which uses hydroponics to grow lettuce, kale, arugula and herbs year-round as well as several varieties of tomatoes. Hydroponics is a method of growing plants using mineral nutrient solutions, in water, without soil. Some plants, such as butterhead lettuce, are sold with the root ball still attached, which means they are still alive when purchased. This will increase the storage life of the lettuce once it is purchased and stored in your refrigerator at home. Their Mission Statement is to produce healthy, fresh, quality produce for the local community.
