Every load is a little different, so we offer flexible services to help you keep product moving. From drop-shipping and open loads to cross dock and forward distribution, we work with you to handle product carefully and get it where you need it to go.
Drop-Shipping
To keep produce fresh and at the right stage, it has to arrive on time. With drop-shipping, we can pick up product from anywhere in the U.S. and bring it straight to your location instead of bringing it back to our main location and storing it in our warehouse first.
Open Loads
Sometimes grower loads get rejected by other produce distributors, leaving a truck full of produce with nowhere to go. We work to find a home for that produce through our network of buyers and industries that can use produce at different stages of ripeness.
Cross Dock & Forward Distribution
Many customers have had to adjust to new Hours of Service rules, and we have helped them keep product moving. From our Midwest location, we can receive product at our warehouse for pickup by your team or your customer, or deliver it to its final destination. We can handle that as a true cross dock, inventory in and inventory out, or on-site inventory management if needed.
Transportation Support
We rely on a strong logistics process to get fresh produce to our customers around the country at spec and on time. Our sibling companies, Pyra Logistics and Fresh 3PL, give us access to a fleet of trucks and a team with real experience in third-party transportation logistics and traffic management. Our main location is just outside Des Moines, Iowa, near I-80 and I-35, also puts us in a strong position to receive and ship product across the country.
