About Meadow BlazingStar Honey:
Andy Joseph, Catherine Rihm, & their young son operate their beekeeping business out of their home in the Beaverdale neighborhood of Des Moines, Iowa. Andy has been keeping bees for almost 20 years & currently cares for about 200 hives, depending on the season. Their hives are located in Polk County, Iowa & in surrounding counties. Their honey is 100% raw wildflower honey, a blend of honey their bees produce as they forage on the various blooms available throughout the seasons of the year. Their honey is harvested in the fall each year & is coarse-filtered; it is as straight-from-the-hive as possible!
